hello! this is Hanako.
the app “88 temples pilgrimage on Shikoku island” on my mobile says that I walked only 28 steps the day before yesterday (30/09).
but I’d left my mobile when I went to the bathroom.
so how could I walk even 28 steps?
well, on 27th, it was Morinoki’s summer holiday!
Masa-san took us a lot of nice places.
first, to Hopi Hills.
we were welcomed by an ostrich, our jackets were eaten by a pony,
we fed white alpaca and black alpaca shards of carrot,
we didn’t eat but just saw young goats looked tender,
instead of that, we ate delicious sausages and pizzas,
rabbits ate up all edible grass around them, we weren't kicked by horses, and we finally could play with a cute dog.
next, we saw clouds and fog from Kenashi-yama observatory.
and then, we had yummy icecream (I had strawberry one).
after that, we came back home Morinoki to have a break with Momo and Hug.
for the 2nd evening part, we went to Otaru aquarium.
I was so excited because I even visited aquarium for the first time in a long time
and it was my first time to visit aquarium at nighttime.
we saw
sea lions barking against the rough sea,
horrible walrus that we were attracted by a cute drawing on a signboard,
penguins who came to show us how they swim when we got closer, rays swimming like flying,
a spider crab scratching his leg by his other one,
a sea turtle like Def Leppard’s drummer Rick Allen,
blue and yellow fishes that made me relived,
super lazy sleeping pink fish, salmons that looked delicious,
quizzes that had crazy answer choices, active otters,
dolphins that didn’t practice by themselves for the shows,
and many more other things with much time and excited feelings.
at last, we had ramen noodles at Appare-tei to call Morinoki’s summer holiday, I thought so.
but still we visited Ayano-san’s Otaru Tap Room to buy beer.
and we held the after party at Morinoki with that beer.
we saw and played with many animals from hill, home and sea, and had many delicious things during the whole day.
Morinoki’s summer holiday was the day like all the festivals came together at once.
